My daughter would just lie on the floor in confusion every morning until I created a checklist for her. She used it for a few months until the routine was built into her system. She now still likes a list, so I have designed this simple kid’s edition of the weekly planner.
Add important daily tasks that kids need reminders for:
Brush teeth
Make your bed
Empty the dishwasher
This weekly list gives them a sense of accomplishment each day for ticking off their achievements and gives them the independence and responsibility to complete them.
