Nose: The nose offers a burst of mellow orchard fruits like pear and Royal Gala apples. It also has hints of lemon sherbet, vanilla, rose, muscovado sugar, manuka honey, and stem ginger.
Palate: A honey note starts before a tangy development into the heat of fresh green chilli. Lemon rind and grapefruit notes linger as it evolves into liquorice all-sorts. Warm spice notes emerge, including cinnamon, ginger and lemon sherbet and oakiness, leading to the finish.
Finish: A medium to long, oily finish features walnuts and spent coffee grainswith subtle notes of bitter lemon and oregano.
