In-store purchases
Our returns and refund policy lasts for 28 days. If 28 days have gone by since the date of your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.For our full terms and conditions of business, click here
Refunds, Returns and Inspection
We do not offer refunds except in the case of Jaro Design being at fault resulting in delivery of an incorrect Product or the Product delivered in a faulty condition.
Our products are checked rigorously pre shipping but if you are not satisfied with the quality or notice something that has escaped our quality inspection please notify us via email: [email protected].
Faulty goods are classified as goods that have an obvious fault, are not fit for purpose or exhibit a manufacturing fault within a six month period of time after receipt of goods. We have the right to attempt to replace it (if available), and if this option is not possible then the customer is entitled to a refund.
Please note, items that are damaged as a result of normal wear and tear are not classified as faulty. Care instructions must be followed.
Items that cannot be returned:
- Giftcards
- Personal Care items
- Bespoke products
- Perishable products such as food or flowers
- Paint
- Wallpaper
- Alcohol
- Sale Items
- Special order items
- Earings – for hygiene reasons
All returns (not including bespoke products, Accessories or perishable products (including wallpaper and paint, and all similar type products), and the refund:
– subject to the Products being undamaged and in the original packaging. In the event that the packing is damaged, Jaro Design cannot offer a refund (as the Products are not in a resale-able condition).
– the Customer is responsible for returned the Product(s) at their own expense.
It is the Customer’s responsibility to inspect and check the received Products or part thereof as soon as reasonably practicable after delivery and in any event, not more than one day (1) day after delivery to ensure that the Products conform to the confirmed Order. In circumstances where You consider that the received Products do not conform with the confirmed Order, it is the responsibility of the Customer to return the Products to Jaro Design in their original packaging, all carriage and transport costs being payable by You.
The Product cannot be returned if used, if the Product was damaged or mistreated in anyway; Jaro Design being the sole arbiter of this issue.
Jaro Design shall not be liable in respect of any claim unless the aforementioned requirements have been complied with except in any particular case where the Customer proves (i) it was not possible to comply with the requirements and (ii) advice (where required) was given and the claim made as soon as possible.
Within seven (7) days from receipt of any returned Products, Jaro Design will conduct a quality inspection and test of the Product (s) and if corrective action is required, will replace or refund the Products at the Customer’s election and we will then re-issue the Products in question and forward to You at no extra cost. Where a refund is due we will refund any monies to You within a maximum of 14 days of our receipt of the returned Product(s).
Due to the nature of Jaro Design Services, the Customer must, where possible provide photographic evidence with regards to the return of damaged Products. This evidence must be provided in the form of photographic evidence, prior to the Product being returned.
Due to the nature of the type of Accessories sold by Jaro Design, We do not offer a return service for Accessories, Bespoke Products, or perishable products (including wallpaper and paint, and all similar type products
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Use the returns form below to start the returns process.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within the stated number of days.

From 8 to 28 days since purchase, we will offer a credit note (full price items)
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
Shipping your return
To return your product, you should mail your product to: Jaro Design Limited, 33 Common Green, Strathaven, ML10 6AQ, Scotland.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over £75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Online purchases
If you’re a customer in the UK, you have the legal right to cancel your contract if you change your mind until 14 days after you receive (or someone you nominate receives) the products, unless the products are split into several deliveries over different days. In this case you will have until 14 days after the day you (or someone you nominate) receives the last product ordered under that contract.For the avoidance of doubt, your right to cancel does not apply to:
– an in-store purchase;
– perishable items (including but not limited to food, alcohol or flowers);
– custom-made items and personalised items;
– items where the seal has been broken.
Please note that we will NOT accept earrings as a return for hygiene reasons.

If you’re cancelling your contract with us but have already received your order, you’ll need to return the item(s) to us, see how to do this below. You’ll then receive a full refund as per the policy below.
Please note, we cannot offer refunds on cosmetics and pierced jewellery or on swimwear and lingerie (if the hygiene seal is not in place or has been broken).
All returns are quality checked – items should be returned in a new and unused condition with labels and tags attached and wherever possible sent back in the original packaging. Refunds will not be given if they do not comply with our returns policy.
For the avoidance of doubt, your right to cancel does not apply to an in-store purchase.
