You don’t need to go all the way to Germany to enjoy a stein of Hofbrau Original.

One of the six biggest Munchen breweries and, more importantly, a power player here at Beers of Europe. Hofbrauhaus keeps it pure with the recipe for their original with water, barley, wheat, hops and yeast making up the ingredients for one of the best lagers in the world.

At 5.1% this is an easy drinking and full bodied beverage that is a credit to one of the most famous beer drinking cities in the world.

Hofbräu München – The story of the HofBrau – Wilhelm V, the Duke of Bavaria (1579-1597), had a thirsty and demanding household. They were dissatisfied with the beer brewed in Munich, and so beer had to be imported from the town of Einbeck in Lower Saxony.
